The Ultimate Anecdote Explaining the Arab-Israeli Conflict
Here's the ultimate story on the Arab-Israeli conflict. And it's true, too. A professor at Bar-Ilan University was standing next to an Egyptian colleague at a conference. To show how Israelis were so empathetic and fair-minded, always ready to compromise, he turned to the Egyptian and said:
"You know, at my university we have a research center called the Begin-Sadat Center, named ater the leaders at the time of Israel and Egypt."
The Egyptian professor thought about it for a moment and then said:
"Very nice....But why Begin?"
